Catalog

Use the Catalog to create, organize, and order blueprints in Cloud Management Platform (CMP) for controlled and repeatable deployments by end users

The Catalog is where all your blueprints live. End users browse it to order what they need and only see blueprints they have permission to view. Administrators control what appears there by importing blueprints from the Content Library or creating their own, and by organizing them into categories.

A blueprint is a reusable definition of something users can order, from a one-click single server to a multi-tier application stack, or an action with no server at all, such as ordering a laptop. See Blueprints to build and maintain them, and Resource types (XaaS) to define what a blueprint can produce.

Access your Catalog

  1. In CMP, select Catalog from the main menu.
  2. Find the blueprint you want. See Search, sort, and filter the Catalog.
  3. Select the Order icon on a blueprint to begin provisioning, or select the gear icon to edit it.

Add blueprints to the Catalog

If you have permission to create blueprints, a toolbar above the Catalog offers these actions:

  • Create Blueprint: Build a new blueprint from scratch.
  • From Repository: Create a blueprint from a source code repository.
  • Upload: Import a blueprint that was exported from another CMP instance.
  • Import from Library: Browse the Content Library for blueprints published by CloudBolt.

CMP admins also see Manage Catalog, which opens Catalog Management.
