Who can see each dashboard widget, and which widget actions require specific permissions

Widget visibility

Most dashboard widgets are visible to all users, and the content within each widget is limited to what you have permission to see. A few widgets are restricted by role. Users without the required role don’t see these widgets in the Manage Displayed Widgets dialog.
