OneFuse modules

How OneFuse modules integrate with VMware Aria Automation 8.x deployments via Event Broker Subscriptions, vRA properties, and Custom Resources

Calling OneFuse modules

  • After running the OneFuse Configuration, OneFuse-specific Event Broker Subscriptions and Custom Resources are created per OneFuse module.
  • One or more specific vRA properties for the OneFuse module need to exist on the vRA Cloud Template for the deployment.
  • Optionally, a Custom Resource for the OneFuse module can be placed on the vRA Cloud Template for the deployment.
  • When a user requests a deployment from a vRA Cloud Template that was configured to call OneFuse modules, the appropriate OneFuse modules will be executed.
    • A corresponding OneFuse Managed Object per policy execution will be created.
  • When a user destroys an existing deployment that called OneFuse modules, the appropriate destroy methods will be executed per OneFuse module.
    • The corresponding OneFuse Managed Object per policy execution will be destroyed/archived.
