> Configure OneFuse VMware Aria Automation policies for automated provisioning workflows

OneFuse Aria Automation policies provide a way to create representations of Aria Automation Cloud Templates (Blueprints) in OneFuse. You can then request the policy from the API or via an upstream provider to create and destroy deployments in VMware Aria Automation. OneFuse handles the translation and request to Aria Automation.

You can have complete control over the Aria Automation Blueprint/[Cloud Template](/docs/onefuse/configure/modules/vmware-aria-automation/policy/#aria-automation-policy-form-fields) service, with the ability to drive the service dynamically. Specify the Blueprint/Template by name, its version, input parameters, and which user will own the deployed resources. The Aria Automation deployments and their resources are then tracked and managed centrally in OneFuse.

The Aria Automation module supports Aria Automation 8.x (on-premises) only and does not support Aria Automation Cloud (VMware's SaaS solution of vRA 8).

## Setup overview

1. [Create an Aria Automation Policy](/docs/onefuse/configure/modules/vmware-aria-automation/policy/#create-an-aria-automation-policy).
2. Specify a Cloud Template with optional default inputs.
3. Provision and deprovision Aria Automation deployments through the [OneFuse API](https://app.swaggerhub.com/apis-docs/cloudbolt/OneFuse/) or an [upstream provider](/docs/onefuse/consume/what-is-upstream-provider/).
4. [Manage Aria Automation deployments](/docs/onefuse/configure/modules/vmware-aria-automation/tracking-deployments/).

## Highlights

- Increase time-to-value for integration projects (like ServiceNow and Aria Automation) that require custom coding and expertise.
- Dramatically reduces implementation and ongoing management costs through the elimination of custom code.
- Supports Cloud Templates in Aria Automation to create and consume Blueprints-as-a-Service via the API or an Upstream Provider.
- OneFuse acts as the service layer for integrations, so Aria Automation Blueprint policies can be managed centrally.

## Manage Aria Automation deployments

1. In OneFuse, select **Aria Automation** under **Modules**, or select **Modules** > **Aria Automation** from the left navigation menu.
2. Scroll down to **Deployments**. See [Managed object](/docs/onefuse/concepts/managed-object/) for more information.
