CloudBolt Content Navigator

Cloud Management Platform (CMP) stores content in git using ID-based directory names like
BP-50pq8bqg/
. The CloudBolt Content Navigator extension reads the metadata files in your local repo and shows content by name in the VS Code sidebar, so you can find and sync items without cross-referencing the CMP UI.

Installation

Install the extension from the Visual Studio Code Marketplace.

Open Visual Studio Code.

Open the Extensions view by selecting the Extensions icon in the Activity Bar on the side, or by pressing
Ctrl+Shift+X
(
Cmd+Shift+X
on macOS).

In the search box, type CloudBolt Content Navigator.

Locate the extension in the results and select Install.

Once installed, reload VS Code if prompted.

After installation, the CloudBolt Content Navigator view appears in the VS Code sidebar when you open a folder containing a CMP content repository.

CloudBolt publishes it in HashiCorp’s public registry as CloudBoltSoftware/cloudbolt. The provider documentation covers all resources and data sources it offers, as well as the settings that point it to your CMP instance.

Related

Terraform operations: The reverse direction. A blueprint build item that runs a Terraform source from inside CMP and tracks the result as a resource.

REST API: The API the provider calls and the user account it authenticates as.
