# Switch Organization

> Change your active organization to view a different part of your business

Organizations can mirror your internal business units or, for managed service providers and resellers, the customers you manage. Switching updates the dashboards, reports, and settings you see to reflect the selected organization.

The **Switch Organization** control appears in the sidebar only if you belong to more than one organization. Organizations and their hierarchy are managed on the [Organizations](/docs/cbp/navigating-the-platform/settings/organizations/) page.

## Switch your active organization

1. Log in to the CloudBolt Platform.
1. In the sidebar, select **Switch Organization**.
1. Choose the organization you want to make active.

The switcher shows the organizations you can access as a flat list. The active organization is marked with a **Current** badge. With seven or more organizations, a search box appears above the list to filter it.

Switching takes you to the same page in the new organization context.
