Access in the CloudBolt Platform is structured around **organizations**. Each organization has its own users, roles, and data boundaries, and organizations can be nested to mirror your business units or, for managed service providers and resellers, the customers you manage.

This section covers the three parts of that setup, plus a reference for what each role can access:

- **[Manage organizations](/docs/cbp/getting-started/manage-organizations-users-roles/organizations/):** Understand organization context, switch between organizations, and view your organization tree.
- **[Manage users](/docs/cbp/getting-started/manage-organizations-users-roles/users/):** Invite people to an organization and remove them when they leave.
- **[Manage roles](/docs/cbp/getting-started/manage-organizations-users-roles/roles/):** Give each user a role, such as **Admin**, **Operations**, **Practitioner**, or **Stakeholder**, that controls what they can do.
- **[Roles and permissions](/docs/cbp/getting-started/manage-organizations-users-roles/roles-and-permissions/):** See exactly which pages are open to every role and which require a specific permission.

For a first-time setup, work through the first three in that order: confirm your organization structure, invite your team, and assign each person the most limited role that fits their work.
